The archeological finds from Lauby include some items that were used for playing games, such as dice. Several dice were found at the site, and it is possible that they were used to play indoor games (including gambling). Other items illustrating the popularity of various games among residents include counters that may have been used to play board games such as checkers (draughts) or nine men’s morris (the mill game).
